More About Betsy
Hi there! I’m Betsy, a full-time, voice over artist who takes great joy in having voiced nearly 1000 commercials, medical, corporate narration, and eLearning projects, among other genres, for conscious companies and organizations like The Art Institute of Chicago, Stanford Center on Early Childhood, Frontdoor, National Grid, The Opportunity Alliance of Maine, the CDC, the National Red Cross, and the National Archive Foundation
It may be the nature of looking back, but it really seems that all of my previous professional chapters lead gracefully to and continue to inspire my work as a professional voiceover artist! With an undergraduate degree and NY experience in theatre, improv training, former medical copywriting positions for major NYC healthcare agencies, and a Master’s degree in social work, I’m grateful to have a rich palette with which to work and multi-faceted skill sets that I utilize every day in the booth.
When I’m not behind the mic, I can be found hiking the beautiful trails around Chattanooga with my husband and 5-year-old son, helping manage (and contain) said son’s rock collection, and letting my Frenchton in, then out, then in again:)
I believe it’s more important than ever to amplify the stories, products and services of change makers in a way that makes people lean in, listen, and take inspired action. I’d be so thrilled to partner with you to bring warmth, wit, and wonder to your project to make your message unforgettable.
Sustainable Organizations Betsy Supports
My family currently gives to Feed the Children , Habitat for Humanity (habitat.org), and Builders without Borders (builderswithoutborders.org). Feed the Children is committed to ending childhood hunger and provides children and families in the US and around with world with food and essentials. When sponsoring, you’re paired with an individual child as well. My son and I have loved corresponding with our sponsee, trading hand-drawn pictures and letters.
My husband is an architect, and the missions of Habitat for Humanity and Builders without Borders really touched this passion. Habitat for Humanity works to ensure that everyone has a “safe, affordable place to call home” and Builders Without Borders is “an international network of ecological builders who advocate the use of straw, earth and other local, affordable materials in construction” and train individuals and communities in these technologies.
