Kids in Need of Defense (https://supportkind.org/) – KIND takes a comprehensive approach to address the multi-faceted needs of unaccompanied migrant children once they are in the U.S. They work to ensure no child appears in immigration court without high quality legal representation, to advance laws, policies, and practices that ensure children’s protection, and more. My community and country would be nothing without the immigrants / immigrant families who constantly enrich it. Protecting them, including their most vulnerable, and taking care of them mind, body, and spirit, only contributes to the health of the planet that they will inherit and advocate for in the future.
