More About Kim Wilson

Boston-based and Meisner-trained, I’m Kim Wilson—a full-time voice actor, podcast host, and artist. My journey into voiceover began in 2011 when my love of storytelling collided with a really good microphone and the realization that I could, in fact, get paid to talk. Since then, global brands have tapped me for voiceovers that feel real, connected, and human.

I studied acting at a conservatory-style school to deepen my craft, and I’ve starred in and co-produced several indie films—including one that landed in HBO’s Project Greenlight Top 10. You can also spot me in the Emmy award-winning series The Folklorist. (Yes, I wore a corset. No, it was not comfortable.)

When I’m not behind the mic, I co-host the voiceover podcast “Speechless: Real Life VO” where I interview industry pros, ask questions, and sneak in a little sarcasm. I’m also a visual artist and sculptor, and I have a soft spot for weird materials, bold women, and unapologetically creative storytelling.

Whether it’s an eLearning module, a commercial, video game, or a promo, I bring heart, humor, and a voice that’s definitely not AI-generated.

Let’s make something you’re proud of. And maybe have a laugh while we’re at it.

Sustainable Organizations Kim Wilson Supports

The causes I care about most are deeply connected to environmental well-being, even if they don’t always carry that label. Food security, women’s health, and access to care shape how we live, how we show up for each other, and how we build resilient communities. These are the places where I’ve chosen to focus my support—because they feel close to home, and close to the heart.

Community Cooks – “Neighbors Serving Neighbors Sharing Food” is a beautiful example of people showing up for each other. For over 30 years, they’ve built a strong network to provide home-cooked meals to neighbors in need.

Days for Girls International is transforming what it means to grow up with dignity. They increase access to menstrual care and education by partnering globally, supporting social entrepreneurs, and innovating sustainable solutions. Their work doesn’t just meet a need—it helps end stigma and creates real opportunities for girls to stay in school and pursue their dreams.

WRRAP (Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project) provides critical funding for reproductive healthcare across the U.S. They work directly with a trusted network of clinics to offer financial support to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access.
