More About Lale
Hello! I’m Lale, a British-Turkish voiceover based in London. I started voiceover back in 2002, and enjoyed it as a side profession alongside a varied teaching career as an English Language Teacher and Trainer for many years. Never one to rush to the next milestone, I built a wealth of experience voicing corporate, commercial, e-learning, and radio projects, before deciding to fully immerse myself in the world of voiceover in 2022.
I have a true love for language and a passion for delivering a clear, impactful and engaging performance. My voice has been described as ‘professional and engaging’, ‘warm and smooth’, and ‘fresh, friendly and relatable’ and clients have described me as ‘a joy to collaborate with’. I take great pride in building lasting relationships with my clients, as evident in the fact that I still voice regularly for my first ever client back in 2002!
I am most passionate about connecting with audiences to tell stories that move, inform and create good in the world. Growing up in a cross-cultural environment and building a rich background in education have sharpened my ability to connect with diverse audiences and adapt to a variety of contexts—skills that I now bring to my voiceover work.
Environmental Organizations Lale Supports
Here are a few organizations I follow and am passionate about giving to:
- Choose Love: Choose Love is a UK-based NGO which provides humanitarian aid to, and advocacy for, refugees around the world. In 2016, it became the largest grassroots distributor of aid in Europe.
- Slow Factory: An environmental and social justice non-profit organisation founded in 2012, working to empower people of the global majority to advance climate justice and social equity through educational programming, regenerative design, and materials innovation.
- Fashion Revolution: The world’s largest fashion activism movement, campaigning for over 10 years for a clean, safe, fair, transparent and accountable fashion industry. Striving for a global fashion industry that conserves and restores the environment and values people over growth and profit.
