I’m a voice actor who lives in Washington, DC. I’m also an retired attorney, but so is pretty much every other person who lives in DC. Let’s talk about voice acting instead. Way more interesting and way more beneficial to society and lots more fun. It’s my creative outlet.
The first time I even considered entertaining people was when I was little . . . I mean young.
I was never really little. I’m 6’7” tall. Hence “the Big Guy” moniker. As a federal prosecutor, I used to tell histories to juries and judges. I like to listen to stories, too. Over the years I’ve learned that “no story lives unless someone wants to listen.”
The author J K Rowling said that. Pretty magical, I think, to use my voice to keep stories alive. My clients, friends, and people who work with me consider me to be someone who is intelligent, who is experienced, who is a collaborator, and who is a good listener and storyteller.
