More About Brett

Brett graduated from Syracuse University’s television, radio & film program and started in NYC documentary production before launching a career in voice-overs in 2002. He’s represented by the friendliest agency in NYC (Access Talent) and works out of a fully-equipped audio studio in New York’s Catskill Mountains (silverhollowaudio.com).

Credits include television and radio commercials, audiobooks, promos, and narration. And if you’re a public radio fan, you may have heard Brett as the voice of “Sound Beat,” a daily 90-second history of recorded sound. He was the longtime voice of India’s English-language network, Zee Café, and the very last announcer for the iconic soap opera, “Guiding Light.” Brett once narrated 30 audiobooks in 13 weeks while enrolled full-time at graduate school. He does not recommend this particular combination.

In addition to voice-overs and audio production, Brett teaches at the State University of New York, New Paltz, in their department of Digital Media and Journalism.
